That smacks of either chassis, tire,or brake failure. From what I can see her car shot up unabated inside in a no-hope mission pretty much at full chat. Too much Kamikazi from a professional to deliberately contemplate. At least....just first impressions. Lucky to be alive...as are marshalls etc.
Even the more mature F1 drivers can make mistakes or get the red mist sometimes. This was a tight street circuit and visibly a lot of F3 cars lapping very close together. Driver was only 17 as are many of the others, maybe younger. This is where they learn their craft and gain their experience on the way up through the formulas. So much that can go wrong. I gather she is due to have surgery today but was well enough to be thanking people online for their good wishes yesterday and to say that she was OK. Testament to the increases in motorsport safety from days of old.
